Unusual Projects
M B Construction has many skills and capabilities and is often asked by repeat customers to undertake unusual projects.
Here are some examples:-
Here we renovated some sluice gates that supported the pond outside a local mill cottage. The piers were rebuilt and then a new sluice erected with a lifting mechanism to release further water when in flood.
This house front was transformed from a mundane appearance through the skillful insertion of feature bricks and stone headers. M B Construction has some highly skilled people who can undertake this type of challenging work that most would shy away from.
A new oak door and frame were added as an entrance for a cottage in Cley.
Alternative heat sources are becoming increasingly considered by clients. Here we are installing a ground sourced heating system using coiled pipes that extract heat from the ground throughout the year. This is transferred through a heat pump into underfloor heating.

The roof of this large beautiful barn had thatch that was decaying. M B Construction removed all the thatch and then rebuilt the roof, including the insertion of some new oak 'A' frames. The whole was then tiled to produce a stunning result.
These are just some examples of some more unusual projects we are constantly undertaking.
